Former Tottenham man, Jamie O’Hara has spoken out about how good he believes Brentford manager, Thomas Frank is.

Since the departure of Dean Smith from Brentford, his replacement has helped to cause the sudden rise of the club.

From the Championship to secure Premier League, Thomas Frank has achieved a lot in his time with the Bees.

With that being said, it isn’t often that the Dane is linked with other roles at top clubs, in spite of a terrific job.

Although this won’t be of concern to Brentford fans, but from the outside looking in, it is a strange fact.

What has Jamie O’Hara said about Thomas Frank?

With what has been said previously, it may be thought that Frank isn’t rated outside certain circles.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Jamie O’Hara has assured people that this is far from the case.

Discussing the Bees’ boss, he said: “I mean what a manager.

“You could see the players want to play for him. He always delivers and he has a really good side.”

It is safe to say that every player that pulls on the shirt gives their all each and every week. Frank gets that out of his players.

Last time out, the Bees pulled off yet another surprising win over Chelsea. This wasn’t lost on O’Hara: “Brentford aren’t one of the biggest clubs in the world. What fifth biggest club in London?

“Fair play to them. They rock up the Stamford Bridge. They are confident.”

The compliments for the Danish manager didn’t stop there however as O’Hara continued on to say: “What a job he has done. What a manager to play for. To be at a team like Brentford. Thomas Frank, let’s be honest, he should be at Spurs.

“He should be at a top club. He is a top manager. Brentford are lucky to have him. He keeps producing for them week in and week out.”

Brentford fans probably don’t want to hear that kind of thing, but it is a huge compliment to the manager.

Given where he started and where the club find themselves now, it is quite extraordinary.
