Chris Sutton has shared his prediction on Brentford as they travel to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
The Bees will be looking to make it four wins in a row after victories against West Ham United, Chelsea and Burnley.
As for Liverpool, they’re looking to make it five games unbeaten in the Premier League, having not lost since the end of September.
Despite Brentford’s good run, Sutton thinks that Thomas Frank’s side will taste defeat on Sunday afternoon.
Sutton on Liverpool v Brentford
In his prediction piece with BBC Sport, the former Blackburn Rovers and Celtic striker admitted that it’ll be a close game, but Liverpool will just edge the encounter.

“This isn’t an easy one to call. I was wrong about Liverpool against Luton last time out, but Brentford’s return to form is the main reason I don’t think this one will just be a straightforward home win.
“After a bit of a blip, the Bees are back to being the stubborn side we know they are, and they carry a threat too.
“But Liverpool really have to win this game to keep up with Manchester City in the title race.
“I don’t want City to just run away with the title – and their home form has been very strong so far.”
Sutton’s prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Brentford
A tough trip awaits on Sunday
Although Frank’s side have beaten sides such as Chelsea away this season, a trip to face Liverpool brings a whole different challenge, with Anfield notoriously being a difficult place to pick up points from.
Brentford fans will be hoping for a Liverpool off day, with a brilliant display from the Bees to try and come away with at least a point.
