Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken about Brentford’s quality before the clash at Anfield tomorrow afternoon.

Thomas Frank’s side will be looking to make it four Premier League wins in a row after victories against West Ham United, Chelsea and Burnley.

As for Liverpool, they’re looking to return to winning ways after losing 3-2 to Toulouse in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Despite the defeat in midweek, Liverpool boss Klopp is confident his side can claim all three points if they minimize the chances for the Bees.

Klopp on Brentford’s threat

Speaking to the club’s media, Liverpool boss Klopp praised Frank admitting they always have good games against each other.

“Super-challenging to play Thomas Frank and Brentford, for different reasons. They always do really well.

“I’m not sure they are 100 per cent happy with the season, but losing Ivan Toney – that player he was for them – really is brutal.

“But they are stable in the table, that’s probably what Brentford want – getting through this situation and then when he is coming back, using him again or whatever.

It’s well organised, sensational set-pieces, all these kind of things. Really offensive players, really fast, counter-attacking really good.

“It’s always interesting to play them and difficult as well. But it’s Anfield and we should use that.”

Can Brentford cause an upset?

Even though the club are without main man Ivan Toney, the club have still looked impressive this season – beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge being one of the highlights.

A trip to face Liverpool brings a whole different challenge, with Anfield notoriously being a difficult place to pick up points from.

Brentford fans will be hoping for a Liverpool off day, with a brilliant display from the Bees to try and come away with at least a point.
