Keane Lewis-Potter is part of the Brentford squad currently enjoying a pre-season tour of the USA.
Brentford are taking part in the Premier League Summer Series in the USA as part of their pre-season preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign. The Bees have already taken on Fulham in Philadelphia, and have matches against Brighton in Atlanta, and Aston Villa in Maryland to come.
Keane Lewis-Potter featured against Fulham, and will likely get more game time in the remaining days of the tour. The 22-year-old is certainly enjoying his time on the other side of the pond. As quoted by the club’s official website, the attacker has said, “we want to show what we can do in those games…I’m looking forward to some good battles…I want to focus on building my fitness, making sure I feel right for the upcoming season. It’s about building my confidence in these games as well, trying to get on the scoresheet and create chances.”
He is also hoping the weather conditions that Thomas Frank’s side are currently dealing with will give them an edge back in England. Lewis-Potter said, “I knew it was hot out here, but I didn’t know it was going to be like this!..It’s ridiculous in this heat, it’s so tough. But we do all that to stand us in good stead.”

Lewis-Potter looking to kick on
The former England under-21 international will be hoping for a big season this time around. Brentford’s attackers will need to be at their best to make up for Ivan Toney’s absence, as the striker serves his ban.
Injuries severely limited Lewis-Potter’s impact last season. He will be hoping to kick on and shine this time around, off the back of an effective and energising pre-season campaign Stateside.
