Paul Merson has delivered his weekly prediction on Brentford as they travel to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Thomas Frank’s side will be looking to make it four wins in a row after victories against West Ham United, Chelsea and Burnley.
As for Liverpool, they’re looking to return to winning ways after losing 3-2 to Toulouse in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Despite Brentford’s good run, former Arsenal man Merson admits that he can’t see the Bees getting anything from the game at Anfield this weekend.
Merson on Liverpool v Brentford
In his column with Sportskeeda, the 55-year-old claims that Klopp’s side will cruise to victory on Sunday.
“I will go with Liverpool here. They ought to be ready for the game. They really did turn up for the Luton game last week like they were going to take them to the cleaners.

“However, they just kept squandering great chances with most of the good chances falling to the wrong personnel.
“They’ve just got to turn up with the right attitude and if they do that, they will win this game quite easily.
“It’s quite tight up there at the top of the Premier League table and winning these games is the ask of the hour right now.”
Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Brentford
Can Brentford cause an upset?
Even though the club are without main man Ivan Toney, the club have still looked impressive this season – beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge being one of the highlights.
A trip to face Liverpool brings a whole different challenge, with Anfield notoriously being a difficult place to pick up points from.
Brentford fans will be hoping for a Liverpool off day, with a brilliant display from the Bees to try and come away with at least a point.
