It is seemingly likely that failed Brentford forward Halil Dervisoglu is finally set to depart the Bees and put an end to his frustrating three year spell with the club.
Turkish journalist Gokmen Ozcan stated that Dervisoglu is already in Istanbul in order to sign for Besiktas.
While no specific fee has been reported, Brentford are believed to have a 25% sell-on clause in the deal for any future transfer that the 23-year-old completes.

It could even be possible that Besiktas will not pay a fee for Dervisoglu, as their director Ceyhun Kazanci revealed in recent weeks that it was always their intention to sign the player on a free.
The Bees were said to be holding out for a €2m fee, but it is looking less likely that they will be able to sell for that amount.
Having signed for Brentford from Sparta Rotterdam in 2020, the Turkey international has managed just 12 appearances for the first team, scoring and assisting once.
Were the loan moves right for Dervisoglu?
Dervisoglu has been out on loan every season since he made the move to London. Twente, Galatasaray and Burnley being his temporary suitors.
He made ten appearances whilst on loan with Twente in 2020, failing to hit the back of the net on any occasion.
Following his Twente period, he had two slightly brighter loan spells with Galatasaray in consecutive seasons. He scored eight times and assisted three in his 45 appearances there.
Finally, another disappointing loan spell with Burnley in the Championship last season saw Dervisoglu hit just one goal in nine appearances for the Clarets. Perhaps this signalled that his time in England was up.
His best performances in recent years have certainly come from his time in the Super Lig with Galatasaray, so the Besiktas interest makes a lot of sense, especially considering the cut-price fee.
Still a young talent, a return to Turkey could be exactly the kickstart that Dervisoglu needs to return to form and regain his confidence
