Brentford are interested in signing Granada forward Bryan Zaragoza in January, however, face tough competition from elsewhere.
The 22-year-old has five goals and two assists so far in La Liga this season, with Brentford and RB Leipzig battling for his signature.
Zaragoza has a €14 million (£12.2 million) release clause in his current deal, with both clubs able to afford the winger.
However, the Spanish side aren’t willing to sell their star this January, but they may be forced to if anyone triggers the clause in his contract.
Brentford want Bryan Zaragoza
According to the Sports Witness report, Granada see Zaragoza as a key part of their plans.

The 22-year-old recently made his debut for Spain, which has also not gone unnoticed by his suitors, only further strengthening their desire not to lose him.
Thomas Frank’s side do have Ivan Toney returning to action in January, with fellow forward Bryan Mbeumo impressing so far this campaign.
The Bees have also been linked with Santiago Castro in recent weeks, with the Argentinian highly rated in his home country.
Another talented Brentford youngster?
In recent seasons, Frank’s side have recruited numerous talented youngsters who were relatively unknown before joining the club.
The club have been recognised for their ability to recruit youngsters and sell them on for a hefty profit, with Zaragoza potentially being the next.
Hopefully, Zaragoza can be the next hidden gem the club sign, with the Spaniard highly rated back in his homeland.
