Former Arsenal star, Paul Merson believes Brentford man, Ivan Toney, would help his former side to win the Premier League.
Toney has been heavily linked with moves away from the GTEC Community Stadium all season long.
This comes despite the striker being banned since the end of last season, and no chance of a return until late January.
The England international did feature in a match for Brentford B this week. He will still have to wait three months for a Premier League appearance.

What has Paul Merson said about Ivan Toney?
Merson is a legend of English football and is well known after his playing days for his appearances on Sky Sports.
Arsenal are a side who finished second last season and are looking to push on this season.
Merson believes a change is needed for the Gunners: “I’ve always said it from day one. Eddie Nketiah is not going to win you the Premier League.
“I don’t even think Gabriel Jesus takes them to the next level.”

The two players in question have three goals between them so far this season, with goals being shared throughout the squad.
In terms of a striker, many Arsenal fans have wanted an upgrade this season, but it is yet to come.
Former Arsenal man, Merson, believes the Brentford talisman is a good option: “Ivan Toney is available for them in January. there aren’t many centre forwards around in the world.
“They’re a dying breed. Toney is a good player, he can hold the ball up, and he’s good in the air. Arsenal might have to go for him”
It is clear what Merson thinks of the Bees man but Thomas Frank has been clear on his stance in recent months.
The rumours refuse to go away, but who knows where Toney’s future lies.
