Former Republic of Ireland star, Tony Cacarino has suggested Liverpool should sign Bryan Mbeumo if Mohamed Salah is to leave.
In the absence of Brentford top striker, Ivan Toney, it is safe to say that Bryan Mbeumo is the man who has stepped up.
So far this season, Thomas Frank has often opted to play without a recognised striker. This left questions as to where the goals will come from.
With that being said, the Cameroon international has scored six and assisted two across the Bees’ ten matches.
The forward scored against Chelsea to keep an impressive start to the season going.

What has Tony Cascarino said about Bryan Mbeumo?
Over the summer, Liverpool was subject to a late bid from the Saudi Pro League for Mohamed Salah. Despite a hefty bid, any advances were rejected.
There are rumours that suggest that a move is going to resurface in January or even over the summer. A £150m move is being touted right now.
With that being said, Tony Cascarino believes there is a perfect replacement ready and waiting.
Speaking with The Times, the former striker said: “If Mohamed Salah ever leaves Liverpool, the club should go and buy Bryan Mbeumo as his replacement.
“At only 24, his best years are ahead of him. He has all the attributes to succeed at a club of Liverpool’s stature. He is versatile, durable and counterattacks with real ferocity.”
The Brentford man has been a star this season and will not want to be lost by anyone associated with the club.
Continuing on, Cascarino added: “He has increased his goal output. With nine in the Premier League last season and six in only ten appearances this year.
“This including the tap-in to an empty net that wrapped up Brentford’s 2-0 win away to Chelsea.”
With Toney potentially departing already, it is likely that the Bees won’t let any more stars depart the club this year.
