With Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing Ivan Toney in January, the club may need to look at potential alternatives.
A couple of days ago, the price tag for Ivan Toney was revealed, with a departure potentially on the cards during the next window.
Here are three options we think Thomas Frank should target should Toney depart the GTEC Community Stadium.
Serhou Guirassy
Serhou Guirassy only joined Stuttgart on a permanent basis this summer after an impressive loan spell last campaign, but his deal sees him have a €20 million release clause – an absolute bargain.
The striker, who already has 13 goals so far this season, is a target for multiple Premier League sides after his brilliant start to the season.
It would definitely be an ambitious move, but one that Brentford should look to complete in January should Toney leave.
Tammy Abraham
Another optimistic signing would be that of Tammy Abraham who is said to be free to leave Roma during the winter months.

Abraham, who joined Roma in 2021 for £30 million, has fallen down the pecking order after the loan signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this summer.
The 26-year-old scored 17 Serie A goals in his first season in Italy but has failed to recapture that form hence his potential departure this January.
Marcos Leonardo
20-year-old Marcos Leonardo is a product of the Santos academy which has produced the likes of Neymar and Pele.
The striker made his first-team debut for the Brazilian club three years ago, aged 17, and has since played 122 times scoring 43 goals in all competitions.
He certainly has a bright future in the game, with Newcastle United also interested in signing the youngster this winter should Toney depart.
