Brentford are interested in Stuttgart striker, Serhou Guirassy as they potentially prepare for life without Ivan Toney.
The Bees are one of many clubs monitoring the striker as he continues to break goalscoring records in the Bundesliga.
The 27-year old only signed permanently from Rennes this summer, following an 11-goal campaign last time out.
The Guinea international has broken records set by Robert Lewandowski and is outshining fellow new boy, Harry Kane in the league.

Who is Serhou Guirassy?
At 27, Guirassy has been around the block in his career. He currently finds himself with his seventh team in ten years.
The older he has gotten, the better goalscorer he has become.
Including the current season, he has ten goals+ in his last four season which is an impressive record. Especially given the quality of the team he is playing for.
So far this season he has scored 13 goals in just seven games. With two hattricks and three braces, he has been prolific.
His goalscoring exploits have helped to fire his side to second in the Bundesliga.
Should Brentford sign Serhou Guirassy?
The striker is a physical present, standing at six foot one, but this isn’t all he brings.
With 13 goals, his finishing is obviously class, but his ability to pass the ball and create chances is also a useful weapon.
Getting the ball into his feet often results in the striker being fouled. Especially against tougher opposition, he brings his team up the pitch.

If Toney is to leave the club, as has been heavily reported, then Guirassy is definitely an option for Thomas Frank’s side.
Considering his age and that he has scored 13 from just seven xG, he may be a risk. He will also be joining a new league.
Given his form, he is likely to cost upwards of £20 million which may be a fee worth taking a punt on.
