Sunderland Sporting Director, Krisjaan Speakman has suggested that a move for Jack Clarke could happen if the price is right.
The Sunderland winger has been linked with a move to Brentford in recent months with several fees banded about.
It has been made clear that Thomas Frank is after attacking reinforcements whether that be strikers or wingers.
With that being said, Clarke appears to be a name that isn’t going away. The former Tottenham Hotspur man has been linked with various Premier League clubs.

His current boss, Tony Mowbray has labelled him a ‘super talent’ and he obviously won’t want to lose his star man.
What has been said?
The Black Cats were holding a Q&A supporter session with Kyril Louis-Dreyfus, Steve Davison, David Bruce and Krisjaan Speakman.
These are senior figures at the club and were asked several questions by fans, transcribed by Red & White Army on Twitter.
When asked: “If offered 20m for Jack Clarke will we sell?”
Speakman answered saying: “With any offer we need to make the right decision for the club.”
In saying that, does that leave the door open for the Bees?
Brentford should sign Jack Clarke
It isn’t often that a winger comes around that scores goals for fun. In 13 starts this season he has 8 Championship goals.
With a lack of goals seemingly a problem at the GTECH Community Stadium, the Black Cats’ man could be the solution.
With Kevin Schade’s injury and Yoane Wissa scoring just one since August, goals from wide positions are needed.
Clarke hasn’t got that Premier League experience but that hasn’t stopped Frank and Co in the past.
A fee of £15 million has been mentioned previously and for that price, this deal is a no-brainer.
With players like Jarod Bowen and Jack Grealish coming out of the Championship in recent years, this will be a regret if he isn’t picked up.
