Brentford are looking to get back on the winning trail as they welcome Burnley to the GTEC Community Stadium in a must-win game.
Following an unbeaten first four matches to the season, the Bees have only one point from their last four matches.
Despite leading for nearly 70 minutes against Manchester United, a Scott McTomminay brace condemned Thomas Frank’s side to a defeat.
With the Bees currently sitting in 15th place, it hasn’t been the best start to the season. The match against the Clarets poses a chance to get back to winning ways.
The importance of this game is massive and tactical tweaks need to be made to secure the three points. With that being said, how will Brentford line up? This is our prediction…

Brentford predicted XI vs Burnley
Both sides need to win this game. Vincent Kompany has referred to this as a “nice” game and that they have “a chance before a ball was kicked.”
In saying that, it will be a tough game. As a result, Frank will have to go strong and get his tactics right.
Kevin Schade, Ben Mee and Rico Henry are all out, amongst others, meaning the available squad is stretched thin.
Despite lining up in a 3-5-2 at Old Trafford, Frank is likely to return to a 4-3-3 at home against an “easier” opponent.
Mark Flekken will hope to return to his place in the starting eleven after missing out against United.
Kristoffer Ajer or Mads Roerslev is the first selection dilemma to be solved. Ajer offers defensive stability while the Dane offers more attacking output.
Ethan Pinnock, Nathan Collins and Aaron Hickey are likely to reprise their role in the defence.
A midfield three of Vitaly Janelt, Christian Norgaard and Mathias Jensen is likely to continue as they have all season long.
Going forward Yoane Wissa and Kevin Mbeumo will reprise their roles but who they are joined by is the question at hand.
Neal Maupay could get his first start since his return to the club. Frank could also go for a young option in Michael Olakigbe.
Brentford predicted XI: Flekken; Roerslev, Collins, Pinnock, Hickey; Janelt, Norgaard, Jensen; Wissa, Maupay, Mbeumo
