Former Arsenal and England man Paul Merson has backed Brentford to return to winning ways against Everton this weekend.
Last time out the Bees suffered their first defeat of the season, away against Newcastle United in controversial circumstances.
Mark Flekken was judged to have brought down Anthony Gordon in the box and after deliberation, a penalty was awarded.

Callum Wilson converted the spot kick and the Magpies took all three points.
Thomas Frank’s side did have more shots than their opponents but couldn’t turn those shots in, having less than half the xG of the hosts.
What has Paul Merson said about Brentford?
When discussing the Bees in a column, he predicted a 2-0 win for the home side against Everton at the weekend.
Brentford have only lost one this season but on the flip side, only one win could see their form be taken either way.
A draw against a good Tottenham Hotspur side on opening day can be looked at in a good light.
Similar results against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth may be looked back on as disappointing come the end of the season.
It must be said that Everton have been even worse this season, losing all bar one game.
On the game, Merson said: “Brentford were very unlucky last week but I expect them to bounce back with a comfortable win against Everton.
“The Toffees, on the other hand, are really struggling at the moment, it’s not looking good for them.”
Hopefully, the Bees can secure another three points and move forward with even more positivity.
